Jow Ga Kung Fu World Championships 2001

  • On the 13th - 16th of July 2001, a team of 7 competitors representing Australia, personally trained by Lam Luan took part in Jow Ga Kung Fu and Traditional Lion Dance World Championships.
  • There were more than 200 competitors representing 54 teams from around the world.
  • The Countries that were represented included Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Germany, and the USA.
  • Lam’s team whilst small in number received great acclaim for their technique and power in the various forms.
  • There were 12 events that Lam’s team competed in and of these, they won a total of 8 gold medals.
