Jow Ga Kung Fu World Championships 2001
- On the 13th - 16th of July 2001, a team of 7 competitors representing Australia, personally
trained by Lam Luan took part in Jow Ga Kung Fu
and Traditional Lion Dance World Championships.
- There were more than 200 competitors representing
54 teams from around the world.
- The Countries that were represented included Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Germany, and the USA.
- Lam’s team whilst small in number received great acclaim for their technique and power in the various forms.
- There were 12 events that Lam’s team competed in
and of these, they won a total of 8 gold medals.

- The Lam Tu Luan Kung Fu School won the 'Best of West" champion at Genting Malaysia
